Si se dispone de tiempo, se puede optar por el vuelo Madrid-Cairo, Cairo-Nairobi, 700-800 euros. Una vez allí, se toma un "Shuttle", en el aeropuerto, que viaja directo hasta Arusha, (unas 6 horas),una de las principales ciudades del país. Cierto que tarda un día mas en llegar, pero si es usted amante del paisaje Africano, será una primera maravillosa toma de contacto con Kenia y Tanzania.
El Motel Adonai en Arusha, es un lugar económico y adecuado para descansar unos días antes de comenzar el Safari. Cerca de la carretera de Dodoma, lo aconsejo porque es el lugar mas limpio que he visitado en la ciudad, tanto las habitaciones como el servicio de restauración, tienen una presencia impecable, personal de habla hispana y un menú adaptado a nuestro organismo.

Durante la estación seca, de junio a octubre, la gran migración de animales procedentes del norte, desde Maasai-Mara y Serengueti, convierten Taranguire en uno de los parques con mayor concentración de animales salvajes.

Arbol típico Africano, su tronco llega a ser de tal diámetro, que en ocasiones, los cazadores furtivos utilizan los huecos de los troncos para esconderse de los Rangers que vigilan el Parque durante el día y practicar la caza furtiva durante la noche. Dentro de éste, se encontraron dos personas con todo un equipo de caza y comida para dos días.
Parece ser, que aun no somos capaces ni de respetar las pocas zonas protegidas que existen para que flora y fauna, pueda regularse y regenerarse por sí mismas.

La mosca, actúa como un vector biológico, que transmite a los humanos por picadura, unos parásitos que provocan la enfermedad del sueño. Estas a su vez, se infectan tras haber picado a animales o personas que hospedaban los parásitos.Os encontrareis algunas en el interior de vuestros vehículos durante el Safari, así que llevad con vosotros Relex forte y Goibi. Ciertamente lo que os molestará, mas que las moscas, serán las picaduras de los tábanos, inofensivas, pero dolorosas, así que os recomiendo calzado cerrado y ropa clara. El negro y el azul, les atrae mucho.

Seguimos nuestro viaje con destino a NDUTU, (1.624 metros de altitud) eta zona, se encuentra en el Área de Conservación del Ngorongoro, justo en la frontera sur del Parque Nacional de Serengeti.
Ndutu está geográficamente situado en las llanuras del sur del ecosistema del Serengeti y tanto el área como los lagos cercanos están cubiertos por bosques de acacias. Más allá solo se encuentra pasto con la típica hierba corta del Serengeti.
Esta incluido en el territorio del NCA, lo que evita tener que someterse a las normas del Parque Nacional del Serengeti, es decir, prácticas prohibidas como la conducción, los paseos y las caminatas fuera de las pista oficiales.
