Let`s take care of the nature.
Let's eat less meat, let's plant more trees, let's extend the protected areas and the nature reserves. In our world there is space enough for all if we learn to coexist. The animals, they are not things to produce in chain and to kill discriminately. The trees are not things to fell for doing decorative tables, but members of the lung of the planet and home of many species of birds, animals and insects. The one who has been lucky to observe the behavior and the social links of an animal at liberty, describes it as one of the best vivid experiences. Let's make possible that the following generations could know also the magic of nature and learn the balance of the nature when it is regulates itself.

JIRAFAS. La elegancia en la sabana / Giraffe. Elegance in Savannah

-This almost mystical mammal movements, moves through the bush looking acacias growing. It is the highest of all living land animals, the evolution of his neck, responds to the need to reach higher vegetation, which was not accessible to other herbivores.

-Giraffes are difficult and dangerous prey. They defend themselves with a powerful kick can break the skull or spine of a lion, the only predators that threaten the adult giraffe.
Both sexes have small horns about what makes us distinguish at a glance. The male is larger than the female.
The heart of the giraffe can weigh more than ten kilos, because of the enormous pressure that must generate blood for the blood to the head.
The sound is inaudible to humans.

-Their language, more than 50centímetros is black and so long that allows them to use to clean your ears.
They do not sleep more than 5 to 7 minutes followed by adding an average of 2 hours of sleep a day and are able to run 60 km per hour.

-When drinking water is one of the few times when the giraffes are in danger of being attacked by crocodiles or lions.

DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS/ NO DAR DE COMER A LOS ANIMALES.

-We all know that to reach a place of rest or picnic, the first thing we see is a sign that reads: "Do not feed the animals". "
Most often, the reason is for our safety, others because they turn, feed them, wild animals in household becomes homeless begging for food. That makes them lose their ability to find food for themselves, and alters their reproductive cycle, so that we do not feed the animals, get out of forests and natural areas without leaving any trace that we have been, for the following see him, are as spectacular as we did.

-This time, we had to be victims of the result of not fulfilling our duty, and for a few minutes, in the picnic area that borders the Ngorongoro Crater at the foot of Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, the area most high, fear was mixed and fun, to see the guide to run like a bullet this big boar pursued by night, which sought to seize their food, to find that trunk where relatively safe refuge.

However, despite having run the 100 meters, it dropped the box and managed to save themselves without losing their lunch box ... so I started to doubt about who was more hungry, because I have to admit, I left my box and the chicken leg he was eating and flew for refuge into the car to see the animal appear from the bushes.

-I assure you, this day, frightened by marabou storks with huge peaks and the boar suddenly appeared from the bushes, we learned well the lesson of not feeding the animals. It is true that in the jungle, you are never completely safe when you leave the vehicle ...

-The black rhino or lip hooked, is the fourth largest mammal of Africa. This marvel is located inside the Ngorongoro Crater and because of the threat posed to 8 or 10 specimens found in the interior, poaching, each member is guarded 24 hours a day. This prehistoric mammal air, has poor vision but a highly developed sense of smell.

-It differs from the White Rhinoceros, not by color but by the shape of your lips and the size. The black rhino has the beak-shaped lip prehensile. This way, because it feeds browsing on the leaves of the shrubs, while the white rhino, eats grass from the ground and has the right lip and wide, so despite being so similar, represent different species

-Its protection began in the 60's and even today in spite of the African Parks saw the horns are the copies and the Rangers have permission to shoot on sight the poachers, they still pose a threat to this species little by little and thanks to the protection of guards and development programs such as WILDERNESS AFRICA, has increased its number despite having been shot more than 200 copies last year in Africa.

-They are very territorial and solitary olfactory mark on a stool and urine through its territory. Rush respond with aggressive when disturbed or when another male invades his field, but in the fighting, do not load the one against the other as do other animals with horns because the combined mass of the two would be enough to crush the skull or breaking their neck the moment of impact, but squeeze a horn against another until one of them is removed. His horn does not have a bony core and the other animals, but is made of keratin, the same substance that makes up hair and nails. Even today, used in Oriental medicine and for ceremonial daggers.
And we close another chapter of the wonders that life offers us African

-COCODRILOS. LOS GRANDES REPTILES DE AFRICA / Crocodile. THE GREAT REPTILES OF AFRICA

-Their skin is scaly and come to live 100 to 150 years. They are great swimmers and tend to live in quiet rivers where they feed when their prey are close to shore or cross the river to drink. Young crocodiles feed on crabs, insects and frogs. adults feed on large animals such as wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and other animals to be around the shores of the waters. Usually remain motionless for hours in the water, ready to engulf prey.

-Crocodiles are very inactive lives, lie motionless most of the day and come to the river banks to keep warm. They have heavy bodies and slow metabolisms. They breathe through lungs. Are lung breathing animals can withstand the most time under water, your lungs are so big they can become six hours under water if you are on the move, if it stands still, ie, consuming the minimum amount of oxygen per minute, is able to stay two days under water.

-Crocodiles can not chew, so they cut the dam, shaking and pieces with their teeth. Grow new teeth to replace those broken or lost. Their bite is the most powerful of all the Animal Kingdom, some 1,800 kilos of force.

-The African crocodile is much more aggressive than the rest of those who inhabit the African continent, differing from the others by having narrower jaw and the color of the scales.
