Bienvenidos a mi rincón

Bienvenidos.Desde aquí, viajareis conmigo a algunos de los lugares mas enigmáticos de nuestro "pequeño globo azul". Los que hayais tenido la suerte de visitar alguno de estos sitios, revivireis conmigo olores, colores y sensaciones que un día tuvísteis ante vosotros. Para los que aun no habeis podido estar en ellos, os invito a viajar conmigo a lo largo del globo, visto desde los maravillados ojos, de una viajera incansable, apasionada por éste, el pequeño rincón que todos compartimos cada día.

Let`s take care of the nature.
Let's eat less meat, let's plant more trees, let's extend the protected areas and the nature reserves. In our world there is space enough for all if we learn to coexist. The animals, they are not things to produce in chain and to kill discriminately. The trees are not things to fell for doing decorative tables, but members of the lung of the planet and home of many species of birds, animals and insects. The one who has been lucky to observe the behavior and the social links of an animal at liberty, describes it as one of the best vivid experiences. Let's make possible that the following generations could know also the magic of nature and learn the balance of the nature when it is regulates itself.

CLIMBING LIONS / LEONES TREPADORES

Estos mamíferos carnívoros de la familia de los félidos, son los más gramdes felinos vivientes después del tigre y pueden alcanzar hasta 250 kg de peso.
Tanto en los machos como en las hembras, el final de la cola tiene una mata de pelos a modo de brocha. En algunos leones, la mata oculta una "espina" o "espuela" de unos 5 mm de largo, formada por la fusión de las secciones finales del hueso de la cola. El león es el único félido que tiene una cola con una mata de pelos –se desconoce la función de la mata y la espuela–. La mata está ausente en el momento del nacimiento, pero se desarrolla a partir de los cinco meses y medio de edad y es fácilmente observable a los siete meses.

In both males and females, the end of the tail has a tuft of hair like a brush. In some lions the forest hides a "thorn" or "spur" of about 5 mm long, formed by the merger of the final sections of tail bone. The lion is the only felid that has a tail with a tuft of hair-unknown function of the forest and the spur. The matte is absent at birth, but develops from the five and a half months old and is easily observable at seven months

Aunque son típicos del Parque Nacional del lago Manyara, en algunas zonas del Parque Nacional del Serengeti, podemos observar estos característico leones, apodados "leones trepadores", pasando el día descansando en las ramas de los grandes árboles, un hábito que podría ser considerado como de adaptación ante la densidad de elefantes y búfalos en la zona.

-Although typical of Lake Manyara National Park, in parts of the Serengeti National Park, we can observe these characteristic lions, nicknamed "climbing lions," spending the day resting in the branches of large trees, a habit that could be considered to adapt to the density of elephants and buffaloes in the area

Este habito de adaptación, les permite durante la época seca, cuando el número de presas desciende en la zona sur del parque, otear el horizonte y localizarlas con mas facilidad desde los árboles.
